Kids Against Drugs and Alcohol (KADA)
“Children are the world’s most valuable resources, and its best hope for the future.” – John F. Kennedy
Children with a family history of drug and alcohol abuse are far more likely to become addicted themselves. To many of them accept this as an inevitability; not enough of them find an alternative.
One group of young people uses beats to beat the odds and breakin’ to break the cycle.
The war against addiction needs soldiers; soldiers need weapons. For these soldiers, that weapon is KADA.
KADA’s goal is to take the fight against drugs and alcohol into schools so others will join them.
Heroin is the number one cause of death in Utah youth today. There is a higher THC content in marijuana today. Youth take candy necklaces and restring them with drugs.
Children who never experiment with drugs or alcohol are far less likely to become addicted as adults.
