If you or someone you know needs help, call our Admissions Department for a free confidential assessment with one of our counselors. Our staff will answer all your questions about our alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs, the disease of addiction and its impact on the family. We can also make referrals to interventionists and other recovery services as needed.
Admissions Process
When you call, you will speak with an addmissions counselor who will guide you thorugh a brief and confidential telephone screening.
Once the screening is completed, the admissions counselor will determine the most appropriate level of care for you, either at our facility or elsewhere. If the counselor recommends treatment at the Ark, we will set a date for you to come in.
Staff members are available to answer any other questions your may have prior to your arrival at the Ark.
Admissions Guidelines
- Age: Adults 18+
- Gender: Male and Female
- Primary Concern: Drug and Alcohol Addictions, Gambling Addictions, Pornography/Sexual Addictions, Eating Disorders, Depression Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, and other Mood and Personality Disorders.
Each patient will receive a medical and an intensive psychological evaluation. All prior and relevant medical or mental health information that may interfere with an individual’s treatment should be provided at admission. If you have had a physical examination within the last 30 days or psychological evaluation within six months, please contact your provider and have him or her fax or mail the results to us prior to your admission.
All residents are required to participate in all treatment groups and activities without major limitations.
We believe that recovery and healing require spiritual healing and request that all individuals seeking addiction treatment at the Ark of Little Cottonwood be open to exploring this aspect of their lives.
The rates for treatment include items the resident will need during his/her treatment, including clothing and equipment necessary to participate in the program. For a complete list of items to bring, please go to our Things To Bring page. Additional costs and expenses that are the responsibility of the resident include medical examination, any medications that may be required, detoxification, laboratory work and incidentals. A deposit for 30 days is due upon admission. Payment is billed weekly for additional charges. Any other arrangements will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
